GrowthZone Annual Survey: Majority of Real Estate Associations Report Improved Member Engagement Rates

Over half of associations surveyed said their organization's engagement rates showed a positive year-over-year trend.

GrowthZone, provider of real estate association management software, released the results of its 2020 Real Estate Association Industry Survey. The report shows positive trends in membership growth and engagement and stagnant or decreased trends in membership renewals.

“This year’s survey results revealed encouraging statistics in member engagement,” said John Cook, senior vice president of marketing, GrowthZone. “The data showed that real estate associations whose members recognize their value proposition have higher engagement rates and renewal rates than those whose members don’t.”

The report contains specific strategies used by successful associations to increase engagement rates, data on associations’ position on public policy advocacy and predictions for consolidation of real estate associations.

The report also highlights:

  • What association pros think their members say about their association
  • What association pros would like to see their organizations achieve
  • Frequency of increasing dues
  • Crisis communications plan preparedness
  • Employee turnover rates

The survey was conducted from Nov. 19 to Dec. 10, 2020, by email.
